Terms & Conditions
Last updated June 3, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) apply when you use your UNI VALET digital valet ticket to track your vehicle, request its return, make a payment, or share feedback (together, the “Service”). Please read them before using the Service.
1. Who you’re dealing with
The Service — the ticket link, status tracking, and payment screen — is provided by UNI VALET (“we,” “us,” “our”). The valet parking itself — receiving, parking, storing, and returning your vehicle — is performed by the venue or business where you handed over your vehicle (the “Valet Operator”), not by UNI VALET.
By opening your valet ticket link or using any part of the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service and deal with the Valet Operator’s staff directly instead.
2. Your valet ticket link
When you check in, you receive a link (often by text message or QR code) that is unique to your vehicle. It lets you view your vehicle’s status, request its return, pay any applicable fee, and leave feedback.
- Keep your link private. Anyone who has it may be able to view your ticket and request your vehicle, so don’t share it.
- Your link is valid for your visit and may stop working after your vehicle is returned and the ticket is closed.
- If you lose your link or think someone else has accessed it, tell the Valet Operator’s staff right away.
3. Requesting your vehicle
Requesting your vehicle through the Service lets the Valet Operator’s staff know you’d like it brought to you. Status updates (such as “Pulling” or “Ready”) and any wait-time estimates are shown for convenience only — they’re not guarantees, and actual timing is up to the Valet Operator. Always follow on-site instructions from valet staff.
4. Payments
Some Valet Operators charge for parking. When a fee applies, the amount is shown before you confirm payment.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We don’t store your full card details.
- Your payment is for valet parking services provided by the Valet Operator. UNI VALET facilitates the transaction through its platform but does not provide the parking service.
- Receipts, billing questions, refunds, and payment disputes are handled directly by the Valet Operator. UNI VALET does not issue refunds through the Service.
- You agree to pay the amount shown for the parking session linked to your ticket.
5. Text messages & notifications
If you provide a phone number, you agree to receive service-related text messages about your vehicle and ticket — for example, status updates or a payment link. These messages are sent by, or on behalf of, the Valet Operator. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan.
6. Your vehicle, valuables & liability
Custody and care of your vehicle is the responsibility of the Valet Operator, not UNI VALET.
- Please remove valuables before handing over your vehicle.
- Check your vehicle when it’s returned and report any loss, damage, or concern to the Valet Operator’s staff before you leave.
- Any claim relating to your vehicle, its contents, or the physical valet service is between you and the Valet Operator. UNI VALET provides the digital ticketing technology only and is not responsible for the parking, handling, storage, security, or return of your vehicle.
7. Your information & privacy
To provide the Service, we process information such as your phone number, vehicle details (for example make, model, color, and license plate), and photos of your vehicle taken at check-in.
- Vehicle photos may be processed by automated tools, including Google’s Gemini AI, to help read vehicle details.
- Your information is shared with the Valet Operator and with providers that help run the Service, such as Stripe (payments), Twilio (text messages), and Google (location and AI features).
- We use your information to operate the Service, process payments, send notifications, and support the Valet Operator in handling your vehicle. We don’t sell your personal information.
The Valet Operator is responsible for how it uses the information it collects about you.
8. Acceptable use
When using the Service, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information;
- Use the Service only for your own ticket and vehicle;
- Not try to access tickets, vehicles, or data that aren’t yours;
- Not interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.
9. Service availability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We don’t guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that statuses and estimates will always be accurate. It may be unavailable due to maintenance, connectivity, or factors outside our control. Retrieving your vehicle never depends on the Service alone — valet staff can always help you in person.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UNI VALET will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, or for any loss or damage relating to your vehicle, its contents, or the physical valet service — which are the Valet Operator’s responsibility. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have directly against the Valet Operator.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when they were last revised. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules — except where mandatory consumer-protection laws that apply to you say otherwise.
